Aimee’s POV
“Dad, we will tell you if we have some plans—”
“Until when will I wait then?” Mr. Finnson cut him off.
Clyver shut his mouth but I can sense him stopping himself beside me. I put down my fork and held Clyver’s close fist resting on the table.
“Dad, Clyver, and I have our own timeline. We will tell you if we are both ready to have a child,” I calmly answered.
To be honest, Clyver and I still haven’t talked about these kinds of things. We were barely able to fix our marriage this past month and we are still in the process of getting better in life. We both have our shortcomings and we are working on that. Rushing things won’t do anything well.
“Why? Are you taking contraceptives?” Mr. Finnson asked
