I intertwined my fingers to each other and stretched my arms up in the air. I slightly tiptoed while I yawn. We woke up at 6 in the morning just to pack our things even our flight is at 1 in the afternoon. This is a Filipino thing others won’t understand. It is now around 9 in the morning and we already finished our morning routine.
As I embrace the morning calmness of our house, I felt an arm wrapped around my waist. “Are our things already complete? Hmmm?” Unconsciously, a smile flashed on my lips. His warm breath brushed against the back of my neck and his subtle beard tickles my soft pale skin.
