Rebecca POV "I, Alpha of the blood moon pack, reject you Rebeca!!, You are never fit to be my wife," My mate said in a loud voice. I clenched my bed sheet tightly as sweat rolled down my face; I awoke in panic, breathing heavily; it was all a dream. How can I dream of something like this?. I wiped my sweat and thought to myself, "If my future mate rejects me, I will be packless, and my parents will never accept me back because they believe a Luna who is rejected by her mate is thrown out of the pack due to her flaws." They would accuse me of failing to take my responsibilities seriously. I'd be a disgrace to my family, and I'm hoping that day never comes. I carried the jug which was placed near my table and poured some water into the glass. I had some water as I quenched my thirst. It was the worst dream I had till now. Hi I am Rebecca the daughter of Alpha Ellias and Luna Juliet. I am the princess of the blue moon pack. I have a brother and a younger sister who is still 5 years old. My brother is preparing himself to be the next Alpha of our pack and I am preparing myself to be the perfect Luna to my husband. I am still not ready to marry and I don't know how to convince them to stop the search. I need time to prepare myself,but my parents would never understand. My parents are on the lookout for a suitable groom for me. As I got up from the bed, my maids began to knock on my door. "Opening!!," I said as I moved towards the door. As I opened the door I noticed my mother was standing along with the maids, she had a beautiful dress in her hand. My mother smiled as she walked towards me. I looked at her with a suspicious look on my face because I known when she smiles this way. I sighed, "Another is here to see me for marriage??," I asked her. "Yes my dear, and I need you to get ready. I think he would be a perfect match for you," she said with a smile as she entered my room. The maids followed her behind. Raya, my closest maid was present there as well. My best friend, who knew what was going on in my head. I was not happy from within as I still wanted to live a free life. I am not ready to be a luna of a pack. I am still so young and I need time to enjoy my life before being someone's mate. My cousins who are now the luna of the well known pack are busy taking care of their kids and they don't have time for themselves as they need to dedicate themselves to their Alpha. Even though they are the luna of their pack, the Alpha doesn't bother about them as he has his own favorite mate. I don't want to live that kind of life at such a young age. Even if I need to marry someone now, I want my husband to be only mine. I would not like my alpha to have multiple mates. Who would like to share their husband with someone else??. My mother began to undress me, the maids who stood besides me began to help my mother, they wrapped a towel around my body and walked towards the bath house. My maids helped me get into the bathtub and began to pour some warm water on my body. They scrubbed my body with the herbal paste which was specially made for me. They untied my hair and began to wash my hair as well. I sat in the bathtub sad, as I allowed them to do whatever they wanted. Raya was holding my hands with a small smile on her face, I could read her face. Her expressions were telling me to hold on, everything would be alright. I smiled back at her while I held her hand tight. As they were done, they helped me get up and began to wipe my body. The other two helped me sit near the mirror while they dried my hair. My mother brought her herbal make-up which she prepared for me. "This will make you look even more beautiful Rebecca," she said with a smile as she took a seat beside me. I looked towards my mother with a small smile on my face. I wanted to tell her what was going on in my mind but I couldn't gather the courage to tell her. As my parents happiness was everything to me. Seeing them sad would break my heart. Inorder to keep my parents happy, I can do anything even if I have to marry someone whom I don't like. "Will my mate keep me happy?? And will he give me a happy life?," I asked my mother in a soft voice while I lowered my head. My mother lifted my chin and gave me a small smile."Of Course he would keep you happy dear. Your father will choose the most suitable groom for you. Your parents always wish the best for you darling," she said while she applied some powder on my face. She also applied a red tinted liquid on my lips. After she was done I looked in the mirror. She was right, the makeup made me look even more beautiful. I gave myself a small smile, "let's do this!," I said to myself. The moon goddess would never let anything terrible happen to me; she would always want the best for me. I present offerings to the moon goddess every day because I am a follower of hers. My looked at my mother and smiled, "I am ready to meet him," I said with a soft voice. "Then let's move towards the main hall, he is waiting for you there," she said as she got up from her seat. "Before meeting him mother, I want to visit the moon goddess's temple. I want to take her blessings," I said as I got up from my seat. My mother creased my hair, "Yes darling you can visit the temple, after you are done praying you can meet up us in the main hall. She had a confused look on her face. "A while ago you were sad my lady, but now there is a huge smile on your face, what is going on in my mind??," She asked me I a soft voice and a tensed look on her face I looked at Raya while I placed my one hand on her shoulder, "One day I need to get married, if the day had arrived I can't do anything about it. I will need to accept my fate. I am sure that the moon goddess would never let anything bad happen to me. She will always to do the best for me," I said with a smile and walked towards the door. Raya followed me behind. While walking I looked at Raya, "Do you know who this new Alpha is who is going to meet me," I said in a soft voice and a curious look on my face. She smiled, "I heard he's a good looking Alpha and the strongest one as well. He had three mates but they passes away, the reason behind their death is still unknown," she said in a soft voice. I stopped and looked at Raya, "He is one strange alpha, I don't think he would be a good mate to me. What if he killed his wife's Raya?," I said with a worried look on my face. I stopped in front of the temple with a smile and took a deep breath before entering. I entered the temple and Raya followed me behind, I placed the offerings in front of her and knelt before her statue. Seeing her gives me peace in my mind, heart and soul. I bowed before her praying that if he was meant for me, I would happily marry him but if he is not meant for me she needs to do something that would break this marriage. "I trust you moon goddess," I said to myself while I closed my eyes and prayed to her with all my heart. After I was done praying I got up from the floor, Raya adjusted my dress and I walked towards the main hall where my parents were waiting for me. As I entered the room I saw that my parents were standing in a corner while they held their hands tight and they looked towards me with a huge smile on their face. Whenever an Alpha visited my parents in order to marry me they never behaved this way, my father would always have a disappointed look on his face and my mother an awkward smile but this time it was different. They looked so happy, which makes me realize they are happy with the new Alpha who is here to marry me. A golden transparent curtain was drawn in the room. That curtain divided the room into two parts. The Alpha was on the other side of the curtain and I was standing on the other side of it. It's a tradition in our family that an Alpha cannot meet his bride before the marriage. I walked towards my parents who were waiting for me, my father gave me a tight hug and whispered in my ears while hugging me, "He is the most suitable Alpha to be your husband," he said. I sighed as I looked at my mother who was standing besides me with a huge smile on her face.
