CHAPTER 49 Dzantig led Penrys along the tunnels. They walked enwrapped in the limited sphere of light shed by the lantern. Everywhere outside of its reach was blackness. It seemed to Penrys that she was back in the endless abyss, that she had found its bottom and it extended forever over her head.
