Author's pov

Shimla is beauty in herself. The city is an attraction for people who like nature. The snow and the cold weather and forest is a favourite of many visitors but for little Mayura, it's a thing that she hates with her guts because this beautiful nature is her biggest punishment.

Mayura is only 7 years old. She is an orphan. Staying in an orphanage at Shimla. Her parents both were doctors and well-reputed in the city but they both died in an accident when Maurya was only 5 years old. None of her relatives came forward to take her custody. Her uncle took her parents property and give her into an orphanage.

Everything was good when she first came but things get started to change when the Caretaker of the orphanage tried to harass this little girl. But one of the elder girls who are well aware of the caretaker's intentions saved her by threatening the caretaker that the girls who are a victim of his list will tell the police everything and then his every sin will come in sight.

From that time he didn't try to do anything with her but he will find reasons to punish that poor soul. He will make her stand in the snow without any warm clothes and will forbid the others to help her. Maximum the boys and girls stay here until they are 18 or till they are adopted. Once they cross the age of 18 they have chosen their own path. They all know about this rule so all of them take preparation to be independent after the age of 18 if they aren't adopted. The caretaker never let anyone adopt Mayura. Many people wanted to adopt her because she is really cute and soft-spoken and she is not less than an angel. In short, she is a perfect girl whom anyone will love to have.

No wonder that the caretaker felt l**t for that baby girl. But all the boys of the orphanage is like a brother to her. They all love her as a sister none of them ever saw her with l**t or any other feelings.

This day is not any better than another. Little Mayura is punished because she didn't wake up in time and clean her room. She was only late by 5 minutes but as the caretaker Is he made that little girl standing outside in the morning. The weather is not good at all. It is raining badly and the poor girl is standing in only her cute pink colour frock that reaches her Knees.

"Please sir can I come inside? Its cold here," Little Mayura asked with fear

"No you are a bad girl and bad girls need punishment to become a good girl you will not come inside till I say you to understand?" Ravi the caretaker asked her

Mayura only nods her head she is too afraid to speak in front of him. She never liked the way he tries to touch her. She is always terrified of him

Its like 1 hour passed but still, Ravi didn't give her permission to come inside. She was shivering badly her body is ice cold. Tears are running freely from her eyes. Her lips are turning blue...

When she felt that she can't take this more. She saw that a boy who is elder then her is coming towards her. He is not more than 2 or 3 years elder than her.

"hey princess what are you doing here in this rain? Why are not you wearing any warm clothes? " The boy asked her

"I am here for my punishment. Who are you? I never saw you here before." Mayura asked with lots of difficulties

"First you come with me. Then we will talk," The boy said but Before he can take Mayura's hand she passed out and hit the ground with force...
