Mayura is sitting and waiting for someone. It's her routine from the past 3 years. To wait for him. Every evening in the park where he saw her first.
"When will you come to Vansh?"Mayura thought
" hey princess I am sorry I am late today. "vansh came panting hard it's like he has run from his house till the park
" you are late for the 3rd time this week that too in a row. You never got late before in these 3 years then why now? " Mayura asked with a pout
" I said I am sorry actually I have something to tell you. But before that I want to give you this." vansh said and give her a glass pendant that is in heart shape and gold plated. With some purple and red dry flowers inside of it
Mayura looked at the beauty of the necklace with awe. It is the most beautiful gift she got from him. In these three years, she has got many gifts from vansh and the most precious gift is her new parents. Soon a couple will adopt her. In all those years no one adopted her because of Ravi but now vansh was reluctant to not get her live with any family so they found a suitable family for her. He asked his friends father to take special care of her.
He knows what kind of kid vansh is. He is not normal at all. So he decided to grant his wish. After that day when Mayura came back from the hospital, she was treated like she is some kind of princess. Well, she vanishes the princess. He never calls her Mayura always call her princess
"oh my god vansh this is so beautiful. Its the most beautiful thing you gifted me," Mayura said with tears in her eyes
She is overwhelmed with all these things.
"hey princess why are you crying? Did I hurt you? Are you crying because I came late? I am sorry for that," vansh said with panic
He can bear anything but not his princess tears.
"No no I'm not hurt because of that. I'm happy that's why I'm crying. You are so stupid," Mayura said wiping her tears
"can I wear it?" she asked him
"of course I want you to wear this pendant all the time it will be like my memory for you. You will always remember me through these things." vansh said with a sad expression on his face
"How can I forget you vansh? You're my angel whom my parents sent from heaven. God took them na from me so they sent you. I know you will never leave me," Mayura said again her eyes filled with tears
She remembered her parents. Sometimes she thinks that what if her parents were still alive. How would her life then?
" don't worry princess I will not leave you, I will be always with you till my last breath," vansh said with a serious face
"are you even a kid? You always talk like adults. You never behave like other kids why? Why are you so big?" Mayura asked him
Curiosity took her best. She never saw his family or knew anything about him. Only his name and he stay here is the only thing she knew.
" Princess I'm a born intelligent boy. I don't know if it's a blessing or a curse. My brain is more developed than other kids. I can pass my board exams in this age.
You know I know the things that I should not. And I won't tell you them either. I don't want you to leave your childhood like me. My dad has taught me to be big when I was only 5 years old. He taught me how to be big. My elder brother got a normal childhood but not me because of my brain. " vansh said like a mature man, not a kid
Mayura didn't understand half of his talk but he is not happy with his life she concluded. After this talk vansh make her wear the pendent and then they played. After that Mayura left for her home but vansh didn't leave. He had brought a pen and paper with him. He starts to write a letter to his princess.
Letter
I'm a sorry princess but I have to leave you. I tried to tell you this but couldn't gather the courage so I'm writing you this letter. I need to leave you and this city. I'm not good for you. I'm a danger to you. I am sorry for breaking my promise. I hope you will remember me in your memories. If not clearly then in hazily. The pendant will be my last gift to you. I'm leaving you for forever.

Vansh looks at the letter and wipes his tears. He knows that it will break her but he can't take the risk to be with her.
He called A girl from the orphanage outside of the orphanage and ask her to give the letter to Mayura tomorrow because tonight he is leaving Shimla with his family. He took the photo from the girl. He looks at his princess who is smiling in the photo.
He just ran away from that place because he knew that if he stayed there then he won't be able to leave her. Tears came from his eyes uncontrollably.
"I love you Princess and I will do it till my last breath," vansh whispered before he left the orphanage area...
