Chapter-5

Mayura's pov

"Mithi wake up baby girl, other wise you will be late," My mom tried to woke me up

"mom please 5 minutes more," I whines and cover myself more in the warm duvet..

"Mithi you are saying this from past 30 minutes. You will be late for your shopping. You have to leave tomorrow my dear," mom said in sad voice that make me open my eyes

I realise that today is my last day here. Tomorrow I'm leaving Shimla.

"do I Need to go? Can't I stay here with you dad And chaitra?" I asked her once I'm in a sitting position

"baby girl it's your dad's and your papa's dream to make you a doctor. Your dad was your papa's friend. (here papa is her biological father and dad is her adopted father). He know that your father wanted you to become a doctor. And you got the chance in a very prestigious college in Mumbai. People die to go there and study and you got scholarship in that college. You have worked really hard on it, "mom said to remind me why I'm a medical student on the first place when I wanted to study English. And become a professor in that subject.

" you are right mom. I'm so selfish and bad na? Maybe that's why every one I love leave me at a point. "I said wiping my traitor tears who are ready to soak my dress 

" You still miss them don't you? "mom asked me 

How will I tell you mom that whom I miss so much. Who is the person who took my everything from me including my heart. 

" yes mom I miss them a lot but I have you all so it don't hurt that much, "I said and adjust my pendent on my neck 

" Mithi you never told me why do you always wear this pendent? You never removed it from your neck in this 10 years. Once you scolded Chaitra because she wanted to wear it, " mom asked Me 

" it's from someone special. Who gave me this as his last memory so I won't forget him ever, "I told her 

Like I can forget him anyway. 

" now get up and get ready. Mihika will be here anytime. And you know she don't like to wait," mom said 

" won't Navya di come to meet me? "I asked her 

" yes she will come with her son Rishi. Don't worry. "mom said and I noded my head 

I got up from my warm and cozy bed to take shower. 

10 years passed away like it was nothing. Time fly really fast. It is like yesterday when Mayukh left me and mom and dad adopted me. I got a new family and a cute sister. Chaitra is their biological daughter. She is only 1 year younger the me. 

Papa and dad was friends. Dad and mom left Shimla for some reason but when they came back they got to know about my state and decided to adopt Me.

They never let me feel that I'm an outsider. I'm their daughter. And I belive in it. Sometimes I miss mama and papa but I don't remember them much. Nor I remember clearly vansh's face but the memories I have with him it's unforgettable. 

I shook my head to get rid of this thoughts. He never came back to Shimla and the thing is I don't even know his surname or anything about his family. So I can't find him as well. 

I got ready in a white dress that has blue flowers printed on it. I really like this dress and the colour combination. 

Once I'm ready I hear my best friend's voice. who is going Mumbai with me. The one and only Mihika Verma.

I know maybe she is eating mom's head with her talks. Mom will kill me because she told me to not get late.

I go downstairs to meet with a very angry Mihika who is glaring at me

"what? Why you are giving me that look?" I asked her

"cupcake I told you to get ready like one hour ago? I told you I won't wait for you but you little brat never listen to me. What were you doing huh? Dreaming about your..." Before she can open her mouth more I put my hands on her mouth

This girl don't give two s**t to anyone. She is outspoken where I'm shy. We both are opposite of each other but yet we are best friends only God knows why? 

" Mihi, chup kar ja. Kitna bolegi? (Mihi,  shut up. How much will you talk?)" I told her glaring at her with a knowing look

And then it hit her what she was about to spill. She knows everything about vansh. And she knows that my family don't know about him.

" sorry cupcake, I was angry and you know when I'm angry I forgot about to control my tounge," she said holding her ears like a child

I just rolled my eyes at her. Now you will think why she is calling me cupcake. Actually I like to eat cupcakes very much and this girl thinks its great to call me cupcake. At first I got irritatated and ask her 5o stop calling my that but as usual she never listen to me so I dropped that thought. 

"cupcake by the way you are looking hot," She said making my eyes widen

"god, you can say that I'm looking cute from which angle I look like hot to you? Look at my dress." I told her pointing at my body

"cupcake, clothing doesn't make you hot or anything. It's all about your character. And if you will wear a burkha still I will call you hot. Now come before I again start my blabbering." she threaten and I know better then ignore her threat

I bid my bye to mom as dad and Chaitra are gone for some reason.

We left for our destination that is shopping mall. We have bought everything we need but still Mihi want to buy some things so I'm giving company to her. Let's see how our day ends..

  Coming in her life was his decision. Leaving her life was his decision. She never ask him why?

But loving him and cherishing his memories are her decision. So he can't also ask her why?
