I am stunned and sit there open-mouthed looking at Asher. I cannot believe he just said that. He really is serious about me. He isn’t trying to play me. But can I trust that I will be it for him? I can’t answer yes, because, in reality, he has been here less than 10 minutes. He has not had time to show me any real changes or show me that it will only be me. This feels very similar to the kind of pressure that Eric keeps giving me. I need to get out of here. I just need to leave and have some time to myself to think some of this through.
