Sage and I found the ultimate relaxation by watching a movie and eating dinner in bed together.
It was satisfying to see her finish an entire meal, and Jax calmed down again with Sage's presence.
The book affected Sage, and I want her to know that I'm willing to listen to her whenever she feels like talking.
I noticed that her body temperature was increasing again, and I supposed it was because Sage was developing her full capabilities, but I was still anxious.
“You feel safe,” Sage mumbled as she nuzzled her head against my body, half awake.
“I’ll always keep you safe from now on, Sage,” I whispered as I brushed my fingers through her hair.
“I’ll keep you safe as well, wolf,” Sage muttered as she rolled slightly.
“Do you want to talk about what you learned today?” I asked
