The birds chirping and the wind softly rustling the trees woke me from a blissful sleep.
Zane’s arms were still wrapped around me as I carefully pulled away and admired my sleeping mate. He looked so peaceful; I still couldn’t believe life gifted me with such a caring and loving partner.
I got out of bed slowly and went into the main room to grab a coffee, but to my surprise, I found Alex in the kitchen with a table full of food ready.
Alex ended up sleeping on the couch after they finished the champagne and a good chunk of another liquor bottle.
Without a doubt, last night was highly entertaining. The two of them were fantastic entertainment, and once the alcohol kicked in, they became very chatty.
