The day to attack the Silver lake pack had come, Zedek stood tall addressing his rogues, it was a thing he did before every raid.
"Today we shall have a blood bath, we shall bathe in the blood of our enemies, we shall trample on them and show them no mercy, we shall conquer and cause dominance to all other packs creating fear and terror" he said loudly.
"No mercy" the rogues chanted in unison as they marched to the Silver lake pack with some in their human form, others in their wolves.
Levi and Zedek walked behind them with slow and steady movement, Fenrir was already eager to shed blood, his eyes would change from time to time from blue to red.
Reaching the boundary of the Silverlake pack, only four guards were there, when they got closer, the guards got alerted, the rogues attacked them brutally and killed them all making their way into the pack.
Almost like they knew that they would be attacked, the Alpha of the Silverlake pack stood blocking their path with his wolves behind ready for battle.
Zedek came out from behind and smirked, "Now this is more like a challenge"
"I will give one more chance to leave and we would spare your life and your rogues. This is just a mercy merit from us to you" the Alpha said in demanding tone, Zedek could see a flicker of fear in his eyes and Fenrir gagged.
"I should be telling you that, you seem to have enough wolves for us to dispose, I wouldn't mind taking the weight of a pack off your shoulders and relieving you to the depths of the earth deep down" Zedek stated stressing every word, standing close to him was Levi who had a deadly snare on his face.
"I am warning you" The Alpha reverted in a loud tone,
"And I have heard you" Zedek laughed, "Let waste this pack already" Fenrir was yelling to be let out, he never had time for all the chats, he was always swift to action.
His eyes turned red and he changed, Fenrir stood tall on all four, the pack wolves were scared by his enormous height, he could actually see all their backs and they looked like puppets in his eyes, with a roar, the rogues attacked, tearing and clawing, biting off necks, spilling blood everywhere, a few rogues made it out from the battle and went to attack the other pack members who were hiding and refused to fight.
Fenrir circled the Alpha's black wolf and Levi tried to join him, he pushed him with a warning growl, he didn't need help to take down a small peasant Alpha like him, he could do that within seconds but he loved to make his prey feel so much fear before the kill.
The Alpha growled at him and he clawed his face, "You don't growl at me, you nitwit" he said and slashed his neck, he was much faster than the Alpha so most of his movements weren't caught by him.
Taking a huge chunk of his flesh, he was satisfied, he knocked the Alpha to the ground and dug his claws into his body reaping its heart out and ate it.
"I have warned you to not do that" Zedek warned in his head.
"Oh please, it is the same thing as eating meat" Fenrir replied grabbing a wolf and flinging it into the air, he jumped up and knocked it towards the left, the wolf was pierced by a sharp metal to the heart.
Watching his rogues, he walked back into the woods, Levi could handle the rogues and bring them back safely, he had eliminated the Alpha and that was all that he came for, running through the woods he felt freedom, the grass underneath his feet, the gush of air flowing into his lungs, it felt magical as he ran.
Fenrir finally took a rest by the waterfall as he gazed upon the scenery with a heavy heart, his thought flashed back to his former pack, the Peak Moon pack.
"I cannot make you the Alpha because you are not responsible, I would rather give it to your brother, you can learn how to rule from him and perhaps when you do better, you can conquer a pack and sojourn there" Those were the words of his father, the words that made him turn rogue.
He felt a pang in his heart as Fenrir let out a soft whimper, it should have been him, he should have been the Alpha but he was denied of it.
Perhaps because of his heavy heart, the cloud gave way to rain which poured on Fenrir, he walked slowly back to their hide out soaked in the rain.
"Fenrir, where have you been" Levi asked immediately he got back, he had been gone for four hours and he was a bit worried.
He grabbed him by the neck and squeezed his neck roaring to his face, "Don't you dare question me" Zedek's voice could be heard laced with anger and grief, though he hadn't changed back to his human form, Zedek could still talk through him, it was one of his special ability, speaking through his wolf.
***
The morning skies were bright and livid, a young man with dark long hair, chisel jaw with a cocky expression on his face sat on his bed holding unto a ring.
"Son" An average old man walked in,
Andrew stood up placing the ring on his table, he walked with the man until he got to his office, it had been three years since he was made Alpha amidst his brother, Taking care of the activities and members of the pack, he has swore to be a better Alpha just like his father.
"We need to talk to you about something" Joel said with his mate, Andrew's mother sitting on the chair with a warm smile on her face.
"Okay, what is wrong" he asked taking his seat in front of them, it had been a long time since they had talked to him in a serious manner, it ought to be something very important.
"You know that our pack is the strongest pack in west coast and no pack would dare to subdue us" Joel began,
Andrew nodded his head in agreement, of course they were the strongest pack and he had fought many battles to keep it that way.
"And till now you haven't found your fated mate which might bring up an uproar in the pack"
"Okay" Being an Alpha meant that he to have someone by his side and the pack council were growing impatient.
"We are willing to accept an alliance from the Shade moon pack, their Alpha is a strong female who we think would be a better match for you and would strengthen this pack much more than ever"
"Who are we talking about here" he asked with a raised brow.
"Bella, she is not only strong but also beautiful and graceful" Diana his mother added extending a picture of Bella to him,
He stared at her face and was intrigued by her, indeed she was beautiful to behold.
"Did she come to you herself, and how do we know that she doesn't have a mate" he asked curious, females were quite funny especially when making deals. He had met a variety of them himself and couldn't trust them.
"She approached us first and we thought it was a perfect idea thats why we are discussing it with you" Joel replied, he wouldn't present such unreasonable ideas to his son, he had thought everything through perfectly. He had a rule of making no mistakes and that would also apply to his son.
"I will have to see her first to know if she really want this" He answered, as much he was already feeling the heat to have her by his side and into his arms, he needed to be sure that he wasn't walking into a pit dug to trap him.
"As you wish, she promised to be here in three days or you could go to her" Diana suggested with peaky eyes, she had waited for him to find his mate but that was to no avail, If Bella could make him happy then she was ready to risk it for him.
"I will make sure that breakfast is ready" she excused herself and walked away. She could feel that Joel had other things to say to him but not in her presence.
"Son, the Silverlake pack had been attacked" Joel informed with a crack in his voice.
"By who"
"Your brother, each day he grows stronger causing more havoc to other packs and demanding fear and dominance, I have heard that members from other pack's willingly join them to avoid being killed by him and his rogues" Joel groaned with a low and angry tone.
Andrew sighed, his brother Zedek had always been a thorn in his flesh since the day he became a rogue, he had killed most of the packs that he had dominion over wasting the life's of the Alphas including, he was relentless and that fact kept crawling under his skin.
"We need to train our warriors double time, who know when he would turn around and attack us" Joel said due to his insecurity, because of him, Zedek left the pack and now he was beginning to regret his words.
"He wouldn't dare, I will make sure to split his body into half if he tries that, besides it's been three years I am sure he must have already accepted the truth that he can never be Alpha, neither will he be Alpha of this pack.
Being a rogue is what suits him better" Andrew sneered with disscontempt.
"I am just reminding you, don't let this pack down" Joel cautioned before taking his leave. Andrew threw his book towards the wall in anger, why was his brother causing trouble now, to the point that Joel would be scared of him even after he had made him Alpha. Up until now Zedek seemed to be doing well than him even though he was living a miserable life, a rogue's life which was regarded as the most disgraceful of things about a wolf.
"Wherever you are brother, just stay there and never return or else it would be the end of you" He warned in an audible tone, he was ready to fight for his position against Zedek even if it would cost him his life.
Being an Alpha was all he dreamed of from birth and no one could take it away from him, not even Zedek.
