Levi paced back and forth in Zedek's office after his return from the attack on the Shade moon pack, his anger had reached its peak, he was so mad at Zedek for taking what he clearly desired most, he waited months for them to attack the Shade moon pack, Zedek had promised to stay off Bella but when the time came he acted otherwise.

Who cares if she was his mate, he wanted her first, Zedek knew that he wanted her and yet he sent him back with no remorse nor guilt.

He dug his claws into the wall creating scratch marks, he should have fought back, he should have fought Zedek for the woman he wanted, he was so close to attacking her, he would have brought her to her knees and taken her back to the hideout to be his slave. She could have been his only.

"I will not sit still" he echoed underneath his breath, even if it costs him his life, he was willing to take back the woman that he desired from Zedek's grasp irrespective of the mate bond.

He breathed heavily expressing his anger towards Zedek, what could they be doing now, perhaps he must have mated and marked her, wolves weren't human who would wait for the perfect time, they did everything on impulse without thinking.

He clearly recalled Fenrir yelling at him to stay away from his mate, the death look in his eyes were convincing and he just couldn't fight back at that moment.

"Coward" he called himself for ever leaving Zedek with Bella, 'This is all your fault, if you haven't fantasized about her so much then he wouldn't have taken a fancy to her' he thought. He forcefully sat on his chair almost breaking it with his strength.

If he had taken her out first then he wouldn't have seen her, that stupid Beta of hers had to get in his ways spoiling all his plans.

"I will get her back no matter what, even if I have to see you dead" he muttered coherently.

Crisp as the morning skies were, Bella woke to a beautiful set of eyes watching her,

She sprung up from her bed "What are you doing here" she asked covering herself, what she wore was so thin that she was scared he had seen everything.

"I couldn't sleep so I thought I would watch you sleep" Zedek answered in a soft tone. He woke up early and snuck into her room just to be with her, he watched her sleep peacefully and she even mumbled a few indescribable words in her sleep making him chuckle.

"You shouldn't be here" she said looking back at him but not with anger, she couldn't get mad at him anymore, she could feel her heart slowing beating for him due to his presence.

"I know, I am sorry. I just couldn't help myself" he answered back, he was already losing his manners and couldn't keep his thoughts at bay, all he thought of was her, she had clouded his mind so much that he couldn't think properly. He caressed her face enjoying the sparks that flew off their body, Bella shifted her head to his touch as she suddenly closed her eyes. He cupped her face and kissed her forehead before he left.

Bella finally opened her eyes after he was gone, she ruffled her hair in agony, 'Why did she always have to act so stupid when he was around' she had promised herself to be strong and not coax to him but she was doing exactly what she warned herself not to.

"Get a grip of yourself Bella" she said,

"I don't know why you are trying to act so tough, this is our mate Bella, you have to let your guard down" Gold her wolf said.

"I would never do that, do you want him to see me as a weak Alpha" she answered.

"He is our mate, it is okay to look weak before him, his job is to protect and love us" Gold yelled, she wasn't keen with the way Bella was acting towards Zedek, she wanted him so badly, she wanted his touch, his kisses, his firm body on hers, she wanted to feel him inside her.

"Do you have to be so selfish" Gold spat.

"I am not being selfish, I am being careful" Bella said in defense, "We are talking about a rogue here who left his pack, the first reason why he shouldn't be trusted"

"And you seem to know everything, why didn't you ever ask why he became a rogue before you began judging him" Gold spat in a harsh tone.

"Do I need to"

"You are just being unreasonable and selfish" Gold angrily said and blocked herself from her. She loved her mate so much that she wished Bella could see him the same way she did, he wasn't perfect and had his flaws but so did they, she never liked how Bella claimed he was worse than them.

"Fine, you can block yourself from me but I still stand with what I said" she grumpily answered and matched into the bathroom to take a cold shower and cool her nerves.

"Good morning Alpha" Beta Deon said sitting on his chair in the dining, her Gamma was also present but who she saw first was Zedek, she frowned at him and he gave her a questioning face.

"He made breakfast" Deon pointed at Zedek who was busy eating without minding them, as much as he loved to eat alone he still had to show Bella that he cared for her so much to adjust to a few things.

"Ask an omega to bring food to my bedroom" Bella ordered and walked out leaving them in shock. Her switch in moods were clearly confusing Zedek, he wondered what he did to make her angry. Just a moment ago she was fine with him but now she didn't want to eat what he cooked.
