The Dragon Prince: Evolution of The Dragon Era

Welcome to the life of Akimitsu Ichiro, a 16 year old second year high-schooler who attends the "Special Academy for Dragon Raiders". In the world of Japan, Dragons pop up without any warning, so to that effect academies were created. Those who pass the academy with outstanding results, get to join one of the organizations scattered throughout the world. Ichiro is a new comer and an upstart at the academy. His parents, being influential figures found a way to post Ichiro to that school. He was nothing like one would expect, his build wasn't remarkable and he didn't have the brain to make up for it. But in all these flaws rumors went on about Ichiro being the 6th Dragon Prince. This wasn't the first raid of Dragons. In the past 1000 years, their raid was way more brutal than that in the present Japan. They appeared frequently and were much more fierce than the present Dragons. But, once every 100 years a particular Dragon would take residence in a particular individual who would later be known as the Dragon Prince. Hinata was the name the first Dragon Prince, who trained hard and successfully defeated the dragons for peace to reign for another 100 years. All dragons including the sacred dragon cease to be active until a 100 years later meaning that there is always a constant balance between good and evil. The era of the first Dragon Prince passed, and so did the second, till the fifth. But during half a millennium after, the sacred dragon failed to choose a human as his vessel leaving the society vulnerable to the attacks of the Dragon. This compelled Japan to create academies and organizations to fend off the Dragons till the next Dragon Prince emerged. That brings us back to the present timeline, the whole of Japan contacted other countries to help them in their battle. A few years later, Ichiro was born into the world. But something was different about him because, few minutes after he was born, he began to glow and things around him began to levitate. The medical personnel and his parents were surprised at the event that transpired and shortly after, word got out, and people started spreading rumors. In the present age, Ichiro is now attending the academy, and is currently being sensitized on their present and history. He pays attention, although he isn't able to fully grasp all that is being taught. Ichiro is kind-hearted but has a tendency to change into a cold-blooded individual when he is pressurized over average. He turns into a killing machine, but this form isn't easy to come by. As the lesson came to a close, Ichiro and his fellow second years hopped out of their class with smiles on their faces because the lessons for the day were over. They threesome were known for their activities in and outside school. They played numerous pranks on fellow students and even teachers, but the after-effect was ..definitely.. punishment. They got into detention more than you could count stars in the sky. But it didn't end there they were always grounded one time after another. After they would be released from their punishments they would always, an I mean ALWAYS resume in their little pranks. It was said their favorite line anytime they were about to reach home was: "Dudes, don't forget how I look. 'cause you may never recognize me again" This popular line formed due to the constant bashings from their parents at home. And if not them, their neighbors would do the job in place of their parents. And this trio was made up of... non other than Ichiro himself, Hibiki and Isamu. This time, they refrained from engaging in evil deeds but retired to their homes for a good night sleep, to prepare for the next day. The shining morning sun set it's rays upon Ichiro's eyes, waking him up in the process. He realized he had failed to wake up at the right time, as the gathering at school began at 8:00 AM. He flung his blanket, rubbed his eyes and looked towards his wall clock. He was shocked to see it was 7:09 AM. He had only 51 minutes to dress up and go to school. He ran to the bathroom, freshened up and took his bag. He checked his time, it was around 7:38 AM, and it would take the bus 10 minutes to arrive at his destination. The innocent Ichiro believed he was on schedule, ignorant on the hindrances ahead. He ran to the bus stop, but there was an issue; the bus was not there at it's scheduled time. He waited for an extra 9 minutes till the bus arrived. At this point Ichiro suspected things were going to take a different shape. On the way to school he found himself waiting for 6 minutes due to issues with the bus. He used the little brain of his to make one last calculation before detention. In the bus, he found out the numbers didn't add up, and he would be 3 minutes late. Ichiro had no clue what to do but decided to take his problem head on since he had been in detention a couple of times. No, more than he could count. Ichiro found himself at school receiving detention due to his lateness and angrily accepted his fate. In the class, their teacher informed the students about a test coming up. The test would have two sections, a written test and a physical test. The test would determine your rank in the school. In the Special Academy for Dragon Raiders, all students are ranked from 0 to 7. The "zero" are the strongest right after "The Pillars". The upcoming test could upgrade one's rank as well as downgrade it, and all students are expected to participate. The Special Academy for Dragon Raiders is one of the many Dragon Raider academies. But out of all of them 5 stand tall as the strongest. These Pillars are called for few occasions and were formed as a substitute for the Dragon Prince till he would return. The teacher told all existing students at the academy to prepare for this annual test, because one of them could emerge a rank 1,0 or even higher. This news gave Ichiro a time to show his skills to the society of Dragon Raiders and the whole world, as all academies would be attending the test as spectators and and contestants. Citizens of Japan and other countries were also free to attend the test as spectators only.
