Callista's Point of View
My heart sank as I shared the recent events with Alliah, my trusted confidante. Her wide-eyed disbelief mirrored the whirlwind of emotions raging within me. How could it be that Ice, my husband, had said something awful to me? It felt like a cruel twist of fate, shattering the illusion of a blissful relationship we had been cultivating.
"Huh?! Ginanon ka niya?!" Hindi makapaniwalang tanong ni Alliah sa akin. Malungkot naman akong tumango. Andito ako ngayon sa apartment niya at maya-maya lang din ay aalis din ako dahil may usapan kami ni Kevin.
"Akala ko ba okay na kayong dalawa?" Alliah muttered, her voice laced with confusion. Nagkibit-balikat naman ako.
Kahit ako'y nagtataka rin sa inasal ni Ice kagabi. Hindi ko alam kung bakit niya nasabi iyon. M
