Kayla's POV
“Listen to me… the reports are fake, they are not true, Lily did something, I'm sure of it” I pleaded desperately, watching as the King's eyes darkened, his jaw tightened then a sharp snap echoed through the room, a sound that sent a chill down my spine.
I stepped back watching the King winced in pain, his eyes flared with anger, a wild glint taking over.
“Leave here now, Kayla!” he growled, I understood his reaction. It was one I had experienced once myself, he was losing control, he was about to turn.
“I would do as he says if I were you” Lily spoke up, the fear in her eyes matched mine. At least his anger wasn't directed towards her, I was terrified! His aura filled the room as he began growling, his tone inhumane, falling on all fours.
