Pierce pov

When I noticed her walking towards the restroom

I looked around to see if anyone is there but it was empty, no one was in the building

What is she doing this long ?

Do they give her too much work to handle ?

Those were the questions striked my mind

I told my assistant to take the team down and that,  I'll be there in few minutes

She doesn't question me

And that's why I like her , Maya whose been at my side since the start of my career

As she entered the elevator

I followed her

What's her name ?

I looked at her

As she slowly hummed the song

The wordings which I couldn't gasp

I looked at her waist as she swayed them

Fuck ,did she even notice me entering ?

I asked myself

Of course not , she hadn't noticed me

But when the elevator stops in the mid air

With those panicked eyes she stared at me

It took everything I got to maintain my compose and staying f*****g far from her

It took everything in me not to tear her clothes apart and take her right there

But when she kissed me ?

I didn't expect that

I was shocked, is an understatement

But before I could process the feeling of her lips against mine as i sucked her lower lip

The elevator stopped

And i had to push her away , no other option was left open for me 

I'm going mad after that kiss

I got a glimpse of her lips and I want everything she offers to me

I'm staring at my speech which I'm suppose to deliver in an hour

At a live press conference

I'm supposed to be getting ready to go the conference

But all I can do is , rewind the kiss in the elevator which happened the previous night

I woke up at night twice and jerked off myself thinking about her

How dare she is ?

She could have lost her job if someone else was there in my place

I call Maya

"Yes MR.Graham?" She walks into my office

"Whose doing the article on the  amendments of child support act ?" I ask her

"Our chief writer " she tells me

I nod at her

"What about the new girl?"

"What was her name ?"

I pretend

"Ms.Jenner "Maya reminds me

"Right "

I turn around so I look at her

"She was telling me something about her ideas which intrested me ." I lie again

"Oh is it ?"Maya looks at me ,not buying my s**t

"Yup " I tell her as I settle on my chair

"Why don't you send her to my office?

I have few spare minutes I can ask about her ideas "

I tell her as I look at my speech

"However I'm done with this .I know every line of it "

Another lie

"As you say sir " she leaves the office

I take a deep breathe

Waiting anxiously

I hear a knock at my door

And I keep my voice straight

"Yes ?"

I see Maya and when I look behind her

I see her

Red pencil skirt with red heels and a printed blouse

Red lipstick complementing her look

Her hairs left free

"Thank You Maya " I tell her

She nods and leaves

That's when Charlotte steps in

Her heavy breathing shows me she's nervous

"How are you feeling today Ms.Jenners ?"I ask her as I motion her to sit in the chair infront of me

Her heels click the ground as she walks towards me

"I'm good thank you sir " she stares at her hands

Not facing my eyes

"Look at me Ms.Jenner .

I don't like it when people avoid eye contact unless you have something else going on " I tell her

She looks up to my eyes

"I'm so sorry about yesterday .

I don't know what I was thinking

I don't know what came into my mind .

It was such unethical behavior of me , please understand that I wasn't thinking myself .

I was panicked and you were being nice to me .

I know nothing can change the fact

If you want you can fire me but I want you to know I have never done such thing before. I don't want you to think less of me "

She utters her words so swiftly

I try hard not to smile

"I'm not going to fire you "I tell her as I lean back on my chair

"Your not ?" Her eyes surprised

I shake my head no

"Thank you , thank you so much Pierce "

As soon she realizes that she has taken my name

She covers her mouth by her hand ,closing her eyes ,shaking her head

"I mean Mr.Graham " she looks up to me

"That's right " I tell her

"Are you aware about the new amendments on the child support?" I ask her

For which she nods

"I want you to do the article on that "

"What ?" She blurts out shocked

"I'm sorry, but me ?" She asks me

And I nod at her

"Yes ,you "I tell her

"You can draft a copy and run it to me .

I'll help you out " I tell her

"Oh my god ,I can't believe this

Thank you sir , thank you so much " she smiles at me

I nod at her

"Your welcome " I tell her as she gets up from her chair

I walk towards her

"About yesterday, I'm sorry again " she looks at me as I open the door for her to leave

"That's okay but I didn't knew until yesterday that kissing helps while your having hard time in breathing "

I smile at her

"I feel so terrible "

I look at her as her head goes down

"Don't, it's fine " I tell her

She looks at me ,her eyes wide

"Its fine ?" As she repeats my words
