I stride into the clubhouse twenty minutes later, in search of Celia. I look everywhere for her and when I figure out that she's gone, I head to Graham's apartment. Today's events and the side effects of the baby have exhausted me and I need some sleep. I have to admit that I may have overreacted about Graham not wanting me to go back to the bakery, but I don't know what I'm supposed to do with all this free time. I've always had a job of some sort since I started working at sixteen. It keeps me focused. I strip out of my clothes and start up the water in the bathtub. I adjust the temp and place the plug in the drain. While the water continues to flow, I pull my hair up in a clip. I step into the hot water a minute later and rest my head against the tiles behind me, closing my eyes. *
