Gazing back at the voice source, Roseanne did not even seem a bit surprised to see her sister. It was new that she had attended a gathering, and people are openly comparing them. From her earshot, it seemed like people understood why Annalisa hides her younger sister: because she is much more beautiful than Annalisa could ever be.
For someone who has lived with people’s compliments, this must be a hard pill to swallow.
