MALYKA: As our breathing steadies again I gaze over to her. Her eyes meet mine with the infinite question that I dread to answer. This doesn’t change anything, does it? I look to the roof, frowning, trying to gather my thoughts, but I feel disarmed by her stare. I can’t reject her now.
