I was this close to losing my consciousness when Nyx was punched and flew to the other side because of the impact. I'm scared and worried at the same time but what I really can't believe was that she could actually fight our number one Warrior at the University.

How come no one is stopping this fight?! It isn't allowed here! I glance at Ash hoping that he would butt in and stop the fight but he looks amused at what was happening. What the heck?! Is this guy serious?

"She's still standing, crap this is the longest and coolest fight I have ever seen inside this University," Draven whispered, which made me raise my eyebrows while looking at him. He immediately noticed that and raised both of his hands.

"What? It's interesting to see how warriors can fight even without the blessed strength and armor from the human dragons, plus that Freya always gets into fights," he said defensively, so I just shook my head and continued to watch the fight.

He and I became more close because of what Nyx and Ash did for us. If it wasn't for them we wouldn't be able to understand each other much more unlike before so they're really special to me. I don't want anyone of them to get hurt.

"Did you notice? Nyx's attacks became more aggressive and Freya's the one been blocking it now," Draven said, which confused me so I focused on the fight.

He's right, it looks like Nyx was just holding back at first...She was just holding back at the beginning?!

Everyone became silent at the crowd, only the exchanging of their grunts and fists became the only noise that can be heard from the fight, Nyx was amazing if I'm going to vote, I want her to win the fight.

When Freya kicked her from the bottom again Nyx jumped so high to avoid the attack and spun around in the air which caused us to be really amazed right after she spun, we didn't notice that she was getting closer and closer to Freya and kicked her on her hips that made Freya flew over to the other side.

Nyx landed firmly into the ground while catching her breath, she was still staring at Freya who is still laying on the ground, 10 seconds has passed and everyone was murmuring that Freya might lose her consciousness.

"S-She won..." I was flabbergasted. Freya's mate immediately went over there to check her, her mate helped her to stand up as she glared at Nyx who was still just catching her breath.

"A deal's, a deal congratulations Nyx..." Freya muttered weakly before she left with her group. Nyx immediately was down on her knees like she was really exhausted. I was about to come over to her when Ash was already there giving her a towel and a bottle of water.

"I didn't know that nerd would be so powerful enough to defeat our number warrior," I heard some of our classmates murmured.

"Yeah, I didn't notice her that much...but I distinctly remember that she wasn't like that before," the other boys commented.

"She's alone and always gets high grades in class, I've heard she's only training by herself before," another of our classmates added.

"If I knew that she was too strong like that then I would never agree to bully her like everyone else," they commented.

"Now that she defeated Freya...Does that mean she's our number one warrior now?" some other girl asked and they look like they're wondering.

"We don't know about that let's wait until tomorrow and a nerd can't become number one," I heard one of the girls said if I'm not mistaken. she's the one that everyone calls Hanna. I frowned upon hearing her say that about Nyx, I wouldn't let this pass anymore!

"She's my awesome friend ya weirdoes!! You're all just insecure! Of course, she's number one now! Bleh!" I shouted at them while sticking out my tongue and before they could say another word I shouted.

"WOOOO NYX YOU DEFEATED OUR NUMBER ONE WARRIOR! YOU'RE SO COOL!" I cheered. Ash joined me as we dance and cheered for her, which made both Draven and her look at us like we're idiots, she smiled while shaking her head.

"That was just luck, I found her weakness she's a very tough opponent," Nyx muttered as she drank from the water again.

"I won't allow you to fight next time Nyx, I don't want you to put yourself in danger again," Ash scolded as he wiped Nyx's trickled sweats from her forehead, they look so perfect for each other!

"D-Did you guys saw that?" Nyx said while glancing around the whole field. We tried to glance at where she was looking, but we didn't see anything.

"Saw what Nyx?" Ash asked worriedly as he glances around our surroundings. Nyx looks worried about something.

"A-A figure of a man in a cloak it immediately disappeared right after I saw it," she mumbled while shaking her head.

"Nothing maybe I'm just seeing things... O-Ouch!" she added right after she stands up and touched her head.

"Nyx what's wrong?" Ash asked worriedly while holding out her hands, Nyx looks like she's in deep pain.

"I-it's my head it's hurting so... painfully," after she said those words, she lost her consciousness and before her body could even hit the ground Ash caught her waist.

"Nyx!" I called worriedly as I touched her hands.

"What happened to her? She looks fine earlier," Draven sounded worried as he went to my side while grabbing my waist like he wants me to let Ash take care of Nyx.

"I don't know let's just take her to the infirmary," Ash worriedly said before carrying Nyx like a bride.

We talked to our professor about Nyx's state who just came back right after the fight because he tried to call some Leaders but it looks like no one came after him. He allowed us to leave because all of us were done without tasks and he just continued his lessons for the other remaining human dragons.

What did Nyx saw that cause her pain? Or was she exhausted from the fight? I shook my head as we followed Ash towards the infirmary.

Hailey Nyx Jaden

That man in a black cloak, its eyes were dark red in color, and when you stare at it even more you'll get the chills from bottom to top. I don't know if I'm hallucinating or what but he looks really familiar. I've seen him before from somewhere but I can't remember where and when.

Why was he smirking at me? I'm pretty sure that he was smirking at me. It gave me the goosebumps that I don't like to feel. He knows me, that's for sure.

I opened my eyes and saw nothing but darkness, where am I? What is this place? I continued to walk on a dark trail and was astounded when I saw golden light. I followed it until I saw the flower park village again.

What is this place? Why am I always here? When I reached the entrance of the village, the fire that I saw last time was gone and it's only left with ashes, burnt woods, and houses.

I was curious so I decided to go inside it again, the fountain from the flower park village in the center was the only structure that was standing firmly in the middle of the chaos that has happened.

The more I step forward towards the fountain, the clearer I'm seeing the view of the silhouette of a man from the dark corners of the fountain. I was contemplating going towards him because he looks suspicious but there's this urge inside me that wants to get closer.

I gasped when I saw the familiar built of my Uncle so I ran towards him to hug him.

"U-Uncle Ken!" I cried as I hold him so tightly and I was really happy that he hugged me back.

"Nyxie... Are you doing well?" he asked from my behind, so I just nodded. I'm so glad he's okay...but is this a dream?

"I should be the one to ask you about that Uncle Ken! You were kidnapped! A-Are you okay? Where are you!?" I asked worriedly as I break my hug towards him, he wiped my tears away before sighing deeply.

"It's for the best that you won't look for me Nyxie, I'm fine... I escaped them but I need to hide or else they'll find out about you and the Great Wyrm," he said that made me really confused. The Great Wyrm? Does Uncle know about this? I've read that in their kidnapping letter.

"W-What do you mean Uncle? Am I in danger or something? What's with the so-called Great Wyrm?" I asked and he just nodded, which made me really surprised.

"W-Why, what did I do?" I muttered, but he just shook his head while glancing at his old watch.

"You haven't done anything wrong Nyxie, it's about our family bloodline, it's very important and sacred that's why I can do this with you, dream link only our family can do this with each other and for now... I think we're the only ones left," he stated as he stood up to grip my shoulders. My mind was being clouded with lots of questions. What's with our family's bloodline? What's a dream link? What does he mean that we're the only ones left?  We're just Mortals... before I could ask again, he talked.

"I'm running out of time, don't worry you're safe at our home and I bet the Great Wyrm already found you by now and I'm glad you're wearing that necklace because it will seal your identity for now," he added before sighing deeply, he looks worried and hurt at the same time...I wonder if he's really okay.

I clutched my necklace that is hidden inside of my clothes, this necklace will seal my identity? For what? Are we really in trouble or something?

"Uncle... I don't understand what's wrong with my identity?" I asked, my eyes were starting to swell up in tears again so he wiped it before smiling.

"Nyxie, just promise me that you won't look for me I'll be back for you and I know you'll figure this all out because you're smart and inquisitive, the Great Wyrm won't tell you everything for your own safety so if you really want to know the truth. I suggest you seek answers for your own questions and don't worry he won't let you get hurt," right after he said that he disappeared.

I tried to look around for him only to see nothing but the ghost burnt flower park village. When I took another step, I fell into a hole that felt like an eternity when I saw images of my Uncle that he's tending his own wounds and he was being attacked by a man in a black cloak with a black dragon on his back.

"U-Uncle!" I shouted as I stood on a bed?! Where the heck am I now? Is this the infirmary again?

"Nyx!" Kathy shouted and I was suddenly being enveloped by a warm hug so I glance at my side only to see that it was Ash, he's caressing my back which made me cry. His touch was soothing as he wiped my tears away.

"Nyx...What did you see?" he whispered that made me shook my head as I cried before hugging him so tightly. I heard him sighed deeply like he wants to ask what was it about but he just focused on my current state.

"What's wrong? Did something serious really happen? We're getting really worried over here man," I heard Draven talked from somewhere, but I didn't bother to eye anyone. My Uncle...he was hurt!

"I think I need to take her home now, she must be exhausted or something, I'm so worried that I just want to take her home," he said and because of that, they agreed with him too.

"Yes, please take her home Ash, if you ever need help don't hesitate to ask us and we'll be there," Kathy muttered worriedly before bidding us goodbye.

I gasped when he carried me like a bride and whispered right into my ear that sends a shiver right down to my spine. Ash sometimes has these effects on me that I don't understand at all but on the other way around...he makes me feel better.

"We have to talk Hailey..." he whispered, which made my head hurt. What was that about?
