Patty pulled the sleeping bag over her head. It was hard to think when Mick was watching her with those big, dark eyes from so close beside her. Maybe this was her moment to die from embarrassment. She’d thought…suspected…conjured so many stupid-a*s scenarios of those two that even for her it was pretty spectacularly bad. Maybe—Patty was just an i***t beyond belief.
