As I drove out of the school premises, I realized how much I have screwed up, I should have just told Mia how I felt about her from the moment I found out that she was my mate.
Now she probably thinks I do not care about her, whereas, she is always in my thoughts.
Whether she realizes this or not, my actions so far are not entirely about my family not accepting her as my mate.
A lot is at stake with us being together because if news of us being mates gets out, the school board won't hesitate to terminate my appointment, as the teacher/student relationship is heavily frowned upon.
