Mia’s Pov Richard and I turned to see who had barged in and seeing my mother, we immediately sprang away from each other, horrified looks on our faces. My mother looked like she'd just been slapped. She turned around as if to leave and then remembering she was here for a reason, turned back but averted her gaze from us, deciding to look at something out in the hallway. “Well, um…” she began, then cleared her throat.
