NEW YORK, SPRING 1866 Over the next few weeks, Jack learned more about the Fenians. He learned that there were two separate groups known as the Presidential faction and the Senate faction. While James Stephens and O"Mahony led the more pacific Presidentials, a man named William Roberts led the more aggressive Senate faction, backed by General Sweeny.
