Slowly I come back to my senses, opening my eyes and seeing that it is Lex that has me in his arms. He is walking towards my house and people are running towards us. A huge black wolf is pacing next to us, blood dripping from his canines. He runs slightly in front of us and rubs his face onto my limp hand. Tingles… Even more tingles. I feel some from Lex and some from the wolf. Just what is this?
“Mate,” a voice in my mind whispers and I recognize Lyra.
“Are you my wolf?” I ask her using our mind link.
“Yes, Aria,” she replies, both our voices are weak at the moment.
“What happened? How?” there are millions of questions in my mind, “I was empty! Just a human!”
