The next morning, Daisy had arrived early outside Cassandra’s office. Hesitantly, she raised her hand and tapped a couple of soft knocks on the large oak door. “Come in,” she heard. Before Daisy could push the bronze door handle, the door creaked open on its own by magic. Slowly, Daisy peeked her head in. It was a large, two-story office, with bookshelves completely covering the walls on both levels. Numerous windows framed by green velvet curtains and crystal bobbles let the morning sun stream in, illuminating the room in daylight and rainbow reflections. Straight ahead was a solid oak desk on a platform step, behind which sat Cassandra.
