Daisy was expected to continue her duties as a Soul Reaper once a week, on top of her teaching responsibilities. Osiris typically called upon her on weekends, so Daisy was able to stay out late and not worry about having to return to Castle Gealach to teach in the morning. She took advantage of that by hanging around the Armstrong Manor with Marco in the library to continue their research on her family origins.
Their pace had slowed significantly. During the summer, Marco and her spent every night in the library, but now she was only able to join him once a week. They continued pouring over newspapers and birth records, but they still did not have any leads.
