Waking up from a dream about Robert Swanson, she silenced her alarm, before trying to shake free of her dream. They had been laid in the sand, his arms around her, his lips on her neck, all before the dreaded beeping. Rubbing her eyes, she saw that it was half five, half an hour before she was due to pick up Robert. He had sent her a text message, much to her amazement. So far he seemed to hate his smart phone with a passion, but she noticed that just after five he had messaged her. It simply said; ‘At the gym. See you soon x’ She sent him a message back to say she’d seen him in twenty minutes. Despite only five hours of broken sleep, adrenaline kicked in and she showered and dressed in record time.
