She made a brief visit to see her grandfather, but she was too distracted to be the most amazing conversationalist tonight.  He sensed that something was amiss in the world of Lana, yet he knew better than to dig deeper. In his experience, this only caused her to clam up and he wanted her to feel like there was someone with which to share the load.
