The sound of the phone ringing pulled him from his dreams. Disorientated and groggy, he felt a weight against his chest. Looking down, he grinned from ear to ear, as he saw the top of Lana’s head, perfectly rested, her breath tickling his skin. He spotted the phone on her bedside table, and just about managed to grab it before it hit the floor. ‘Hello?’ he greeted, his voice croaky from slumber. ‘Mr Swanson? It’s Perry Compton.
