Around eleven am, Lenny woke to find his Grand-daughter seated beside him, and his son Barry seated to the right of her. 'It's okay Grandpa' Lana soothed him, her voice cracking. Her tone was steeped with sadness and joy in equal measures, the past 24 hours had been the most emotionally fraught of her life. Her father had arrived here in the early hours of the morning, and lines of worry etched his normally carefree complexion. This brought back memories of her mother, which she tried to push away before they consumed her. As he held her, she allowed herself to slump against his shoulder, a sudden raw homesickness hitting her.
