Alpha Drake POV
I was lying in bed completely awake, While Isabella was out on patrol with Erik and Jared. I couldn’t sleep. I had way too much on my mind.
I looked over at my alarm clock and saw that it was 1:00 am. I got out of bed to use the washroom and grab a glass of water when I got a mind-link from Jared.
‘Boss, we can smell rogues and Isabella is gone,’ he said, panic clear in his voice.
‘What do you mean she’s gone?’ I growled back.
‘She was following us when we smelt rogues, I looked back and she was gone,’ he replied in a concerned tone.
‘Where are you?’ I asked sharply.
‘West border,’ he replied.
‘I’m on my way.’ I said and ended the mind-link.
