Alpha Drake POV
I couldn’t calm down. I was pacing around my office when there was a knock at the door. Hope flooded through me at the thought that maybe it was Isabella.
I ran to open it and was disappointed to see that it was only Erik. I hoped maybe he had some information about her for me.
“Come in,” I said while going behind my desk and sitting in my chair. Erik followed me in and sat in the chair across from me.
“What the hell happened?” Erik asked me pointedly.
I told him everything that happened. Erik let out a heavy sigh when I was done and rubbed his hands over his face.
“Man, that’s not good,” he said while shaking his head.
