I’ve been going crazy all day. I couldn’t feel Isabella through the mate bond for most of the day, probably because of the wolfbane she was given.
Midway through the day, I started to sense her emotions and I got hit hard by her fear. I felt rage flowing through me. I don’t know how many holes I punched in the walls. It was the worst feeling, being completely helpless while sensing her distress.
What is he doing to her? All of the worse-case scenarios were running through my mind and it was driving me mad. Even my closest friends, Erik and Jared, couldn’t approach me. I was inconsolable.
