I wale up early the next morning and reach over to find Emerson’s side of the bed empty. I was sad until I notice there is a note on his pillow with a Lilly laying on top. I remember telling him that was my favorite flower our first week away at the cabin when we spent time getting to know each other. The small gesture makes me smile and realize how truly luck I am that he is mine. I sit up and open the note.
