Mrs Mitchells POV:

I've known Cassie since she was 4 and I've never seen her this vulnerable. She always holds this strong and fierce attitude on the outside but on the inside she's broken and depressed. The abuse started when she was 7 and continued till he died. I don't know happened after we left Ontario but it looked like it got worse. When she first came to see us I was shocked. I didn't think she'd survive the abuse. I was making a cake for the new neighbour joining the Romano family and she just entered

'Ari the cake is almost ready you have to go give it to the neighbours.' I said

'Too bad I'm not Ari' She said

I almost dropped the batter I was making out of shock

'Cassie is that you' I said

'Why is everyone saying that. First it was Spencer then it was the Johnsons and now its you' She groaned

'Lessi already knows and if Ari or Spence get to know about this they won't hesitate to get on the next flight to Ontario and kill her.' She said

'But darling you have to tell someone' I said

'I can't I don't trust anyone apart from you guys. I can't risk it. I can't trust anyone' She said crying.

'Ok fine but can you tell me what happened the day we left for California.' She said

'He beat me to a pulp because I told you guys and couldn't walk for a month. He r***d me and sold me off to different people' She mumbled.

'Sweetie you can't keep it to yourself you have to tell someone' I said

'I can't I just can't' She said and broke down again

'I have to go now but I'll visit later ok.' She said

I got back to making my cake and went to the Romano house to give it to them but as soon I knocked I was greeted by sad looks from everyone.

'What happened' I said

'Cassandra happened' Alessio said

'What did you do?' I asked them

'I just asked her where she was and why she was crying' Xavier said

'Why would you that' I said

'What do you mean?' Jason said

'Cassie doesn't like people take pity on her and she was with me.' I said

'Wait I'll go talk to her' I said as I was climbing up the stairs

'Cassie honey can you open the door' I said softly

'Go away' She shouted

'Cass he cant hurt you anymore' I said

'Yes he can.' She said

'Open the door sweetheart and we can talk properly' I said

the minute the door opened I was greeted by Cassie's arms wrapped round my neck as she cried into my shoulder

'I don't deserve anyone' She said in between hiccups

I lifted her chin so we could maintain eye contact and told her

'Cassandra Romano you deserve the world' I said sternly

'No I don't I'm just a slut that goes around for money' She said

'No you are not a slut. you are a survivor' I said coldly

'Of what. Mrs Mitchell what am I survivor of Suicide, Abuse, r**e, Bullying or all of them' She said

'Of all of that darling please come downstairs' I said

'Why should I go downstairs. so they could blame me or show me pity. I f*****g hate pity' She said

'Leave please' She said with her voice cracking at the end.

I left in defeat and went back down.

'What did she say' Adrian said

'Leave' I said

'No you didn't she's just been through so much' I said

'What do you mean she's been through so much' Xander asked suspiciously

'She was bullied in her high school and was assaulted by a f*****g teacher' I said with Alessio finishing it off.

'What' All the brothers shouted in unison.

'Let her explain later ok' I said

'Sure' Adrian said

A few hours later

I was cleaning the house when suddenly Cassie came in and ran to me while crying.

'Darling what happened' I asked in a concerned voice

'He's back' She said

'Who's back sweetie' I asked

'H-H-Hunter' She said

'Oh sweetheart' She said as she cried into my chest.

I comforted her for half an hour before she fell asleep in my arms. I carried her into Aria's room and as I laid her down Aria gave me a questionable look.

'Hunter' I said but as soon as I said she was flaming with anger. She quickly ran out the house to the Romano mansion as I chased her into the house but I was too late as she was screaming at Hunter and trying to punch him but was held back by Alessio.

'Aria stop now' I said sternly but she didn't stop

'Aria stop before you regret it' Xavier said coldly but Aria just laughed it off

'Regret what. I have no regret about what I'm going to do. You don't know what he did. He ruined my best friend' Aria said

'What did I do' Hunter said innocently

'You know exactly what you did' She spat

'What' He said innocently

'Hunter tell us what you did that got Aria so riled up' Alessio said coldly that made Hunter cower in fear

'If he doesn't tell you I will' Aria spat out

'Calm down Xandy I'll tell you and I swear if you get mad do not and I repeat DO NOT punch the wall go to the gym k.' I said

A series of oks were spread across the room

'So it all started at the age of 11 when my idiotic father left me with him doing whatever he does on Friday evening. I was completing my homework when he entered my room and started touching me inappropriately and where I didn't want to be touched.' As soon as I finished my sentence all my brothers eyes darkened as they looked ready to kill. Suddenly a bad flashback came to my mind.

It was around 5:00 in the evening and I was completing some homework that I had to give in on Monday. My bedroom door slammed open and their stood my worst nightmare. Hunter Davidson or Sir as I called him.

'Well hello my little munchkin how are you today' He said as he stood behind me looking at the homework I was completing

'Good Sir' I said

I thought he was gone so I started to solve more problems. It wasn't until he whispered in my ear

Cassie called me saying that she wants me to come get her as she wanted a change of scenery. I told her I would be by her window at 10pm. As I was about to leave the house Mum told me to go back to bed so I listened to her but not before texting Cassie that I couldn't come. I entered my room and closed my door and carried on watching 13 Reasons Why. After I finished 3 episodes Mum came into my room with a asleep Cassie in her arms. I gave her a questionable look to which she replied

'Hunter'

Upon hearing that name I ran out my room ignoring the shouts of mum behind me and ran to the Romano Mansion. I slammed the door open and started shouting

'Why the f**k are you here'

'You can't be here you wrecked her life enough'

''Aria stop now' Mum said sternly but I didn't stop
