Cassandra's POV

After we reached California we got in a sleek black rolls Royce and headed towards the house. I took in my surroundings as we pulled up to the house. It hadn't changed at all since I left. I wondered if my room stayed the same. Lessi pulled me out of my reverie as we entered the driveway. He opened my door and helped me exit the car as he opened the door of the house. I found the house empty until someone hugged me from behind so my instincts kicked in and punched them in the gut and flip them on the floor with my foot on his chest. But unfortunately the person that I hit was no other than Adrian. A high pitched scream came from him which led to everyone come out the kitchen and see what the scream was. I heard gasps from everyone in the room.

'What the heck was that' Lessi said

'Lijah' I said as I hugged him

'Xavi' I hugged Xavier

'Jasy' I hugged Jason

'Adri' I hugged Adrian as I picked him up from the floor

'Xandy' I hugged Alexander

'Zachy poo' I said while the others sniggered

'Never call me that again' Zach said

'Okay Zachy poo' I said

'You actually remember us' Zach said

'Of course I do. You guys were the only thing that kept me from dying' I said but mumbled the last part.'

'Please enlighten me on how you threw Adrian on the floor.' Alessio said

'Lessi that's something for me to know and for you to find out' I said

'Actually' Adrian started but before he could finish I elbowed him in the gut

'Owwww' Adrian said as I give him my death glare

'Cass what happened in school' Lessi said

'N-N-Nothing' I stuttered

'Stop L-' He started to say but was cut off by the bell ringing.

'Xander open the door and you we're not done yet' He said

'Hi Xander how are you' I heard the voice but I recognised that voice anywhere

'Ari, Spence' I shouted as I tackled them to the floor.

'Cassie' they asked shocked

'Is that really you or am I dreaming' Spencer said

'No its Gigi Hadid' I said

'I don't believe you' Spence said

I slapped him hard

'Owwww' Spence said while me and Ari laughed out butts off

'Believe me now i***t' I said with a smirk.

'That's it' He said before flipping me on the floor and tickling me

'B-B-Betrayers' I said to my brothers who were filming the whole thing

'I'll stop only if you say Spencer is my best friend and I love him more than Ari' He says

'Thank you' I said as I was catching my breath.

'Now to sort out all these boys.' I said to myself

'Xavi pick me up pls' I said to Xavier

When he came close enough I stood up quickly and flipped him over my shoulder. He groaned in pain while the other boys were scared for their lives.

'You're dead Cassie' Xander said as he came closer to. My instinct was to run and that's exactly what I did. I ran out the house with Lessi shouting

'Cassandra Stephanie Romano get your butt over here before I come after you'

I ran next door not bothering to knock but what I saw actually made me throw up.

'My eyes' I said as I covered them

'Spen- Cassie' Mrs Johnson said

'You can uncover your eyes now' I did as I was told and I was relieved when they were dressed

'Sorry bout him why are you here' Mrs Johnson said

'Cassandra sit your butt down and tell me everything' Mrs J said

'So I was being introduced to my brothers when Ari and Spence came and I hugged them but then Spencer being Spencer joked around and somehow he started tickling me while my brothers were filming me. So I may or may not have flipped Xavier on the floor.' I said

'I have a secret to tell you Cassie but promise me you wont tell anyone especially Spencer.' She said

'I Cassandra Stephanie Romano promise not to tell' I said

'I'm pregnant' She said

'No way I'm going to be the best aunt ever' I said

'You did what' Mr J said about what I did to Xavier

'Bye' I said as I ran out the door to The Mitchells.

I entered the Mitchells house to hear Mrs Mitchell humming a tune in the kitchen. I entered the kitchen to be greeted by Mrs Mitchell saying

'Ari the cake is almost ready you have to go give it to the neighbours.'

'Too bad I'm not Ari' I said

Mrs Mitchell almost dropped the batter she was making.

'Cassie is that you' Mrs Mitchell said

'Why is everyone saying that. First it was Spencer then it was the Johnsons and now its you' I groaned

'Sorry darling its just a surprise' She said

'Did you run away again, Is he giving you anymore trouble' She rambled

'I live here now Mrs Mitchell' I said

'What' She said

'I'm the one you are making the cake for' I said

'Really' She said

'Yes' I said

'You know I only came in here because of your cake. I haven't had it in 3 years. Do you know how long that was' I exaggerated

'I'm wounded child' She said dramatically to which I laughed at

'Darling tell me what happened exactly when I was away.' She said

'He r***d me every day' I mumbled with tears in my eyes.

'Oh my god' She said shocked.

'What about the handprint and strangle marks on your neck.' She said

'The b***h Miss Stuart did it because I was late. Its not my fault that Mandy cut my shoulder' I said

'What but you can't lay hands on your students.' She said

'It doesn't matter as long as I can cover it it'll be fine' I said

'Lessi already knows and if Ari or Spence get to know about this they won't hesitate to get on the next flight to Ontario and kill her.' I said

'But darling you have to tell someone' She said

'I can't I don't trust anyone apart from you guys. I can't risk it. I can't trust anyone' I said crying.

'Ok fine but can you tell me what happened the day we left for California.' She said

'He beat me to a pulp because I told you guys and couldn't walk for a month. He r***d me and sold me off to different people' I mumbled.

'I have to go now but I'll visit later ok.' I said

'Ok darling bye' Mrs Mitchell said

'Bye' I said back

On the way back home I thought about my life how bad it was. My final decision was to shut everyone out apart from the Johnsons and Mitchells. I entered the house to see Xavier pacing around the kitchen waiting for me to turn up.

Sup' I said

'Don't you sup me Cassandra where were you' Alessio said

'With my new neighbours.' I said bluntly

'Were you crying' Xander said

'No now leave me alone' I shouted as I ran to my room.

I took in my surroundings seeing that nothing changed from when I left. My dolls were sitting where I had left them and my bed still had the duvet I had since I was 2. After looking around I sat on the balcony thinking about how my life changed just in a matter of 2 days. Two days ago I was on my carboard box that I called a mattress being r***d and today I'm here in my childhood home

A knock on the door snapped me out of my thoughts

'Cassie its me Ari let me in please' She pleaded

'No leave me alone' I said in between tears while rocking myself back and forth trying to keep myself calm but it wasn't helping. Jack was right I don't deserve anything.

'Cassie please open the door' Lessi pleaded

I ran to the bathroom and locked myself in it while silently crying and continuously rocking myself.

I quickly washed the blood away and bandaged my arm. I looked on my left arm to see the words Slut engraved. About 3 hours had passed when Mr Mitchell called me down to have dinner.

'Darling come down its dinner time' Mr Mitchell said

I told Mr Mitchell to call her down for dinner because she wont listen to anyone else

Dinner was in a awkward silence as I told Xavier to give her food and leave it outside her door.

I woke up the next morning at 5:00 like I always did for my morning run and saw the plate of Lasagne still sitting where it was before but what I heard broke my heart. Cassie was crying. My morning run could wait.

'Cassie Darling please open the door.' I said

'No' She said

'Why not' I questioned

'Because' She replied

'Valid reason please' I said

'Just go away' She said

'I don't deserve happiness' I heard her say thinking that I left

'Don't say that you deserve the world' I said

'No I don't I'm a murderer' She told me

'Yea I did. I don't deserve anyone. Heck I don't even deserve my friends' She said whimpering

'You deserve everything Bambina' I said while I leaned against the door.

She finally opened the door and what I saw broke my heart. Her eyes were puffy and bloodshot red but what caught my attention was that the marks on her neck were even darker.

'Lets go' I said as I carried her bridal style.

'Where' She said

'Breakfast' I said

'Oh' She said

I made pancakes, bacon, eggs and hash browns. I made a plate for her

'This is all for me' She whispered

'Yea' I said as I wondered why she would ask

'I'm full' She said I looked at her plate to see she finished 1 hash brown and 2 pancakes.

'Darling how are you full you only had 1 hash brown and 2 pancakes' I asked her

'I have a small appetite.' She said

'Lessi' She said

'Yes' I said

'Can I make cupcakes for everyone please' She said with puppy eyes.

'Sure only if you promise to eat one yourself' I said

Cassandra's POV

I decided to have a bit of fun. I was going to make 2 batches of cupcakes. 1 batch with toothpaste in the centre and the 2nd one was going to be a Oreo cupcake. The 1st one was going to be a vanilla cake. I put the first batch in the oven then decorated it with Vanilla frosting and filled it with toothpaste. I put the 2nd batch in the oven a did an Oreo frosting and Oreo filling and topped it off with a chocolate sauce drizzle. By the time I finished it was 9am and everyone was having breakfast. Even the Johnsons and Mitchells were here. I entered the dining room and said sorry about how I acted yesterday and then told them I made cupcakes. I got the 1st batch out of the kitchen and took it to them. I swore to Lessi that I ate one. When they took a bite I ran for it.

'Cassandra Stephanie Romano get your butt in here now' Lessi said

'You called bro' I said

'What did you put inside these cakes' Lessi demanded

'Ummm I put toothpaste' I said cheekily

'But I made a second batch wait' I said as I headed to the Kitchen and got my Oreo cupcakes.

'How do we know you didn't put anything in this one.' Xander said

'I Cassandra Stephanie Romano did not put anything in this batch.' I said

'They are actually very nice' Lijah said

'Can you make me a whole tray' Mrs Johnson

'Sure' I said laughing

'And I'm sorry about how I acted yesterday' I said

'We forgive you Cassie' They all said

'Yayy' I said

'Cassie what's that on your neck' Xander said
