Chapter 7 Charlie “Uncle Charlie!” He groaned and rolled over. It was too early to get up. He blinked open on eye and saw the clock flashing. Crap. That meant his power must have gone out at some point after he’d texted with Owen. A snowstorm had started around six in the morning and he’d decided his bed was much too comfy to leave, so he’d gone back to sleep. Thank goodness he didn’t have to work today. “Uncle Charlie!” Nathan hollered again as he came through the apartment, making his way to Charlie’s bedroom. Why had he ever given his sister his spare key? “You tell him, Nathan. Say it’s too late to sleep.” “It’s too late to sleep,” he repeated. Loudly. “What time is it?” Charlie ground out. “Morning!” Nathan answered. “After ten,” Melissa clarified. “Fu-uh, I mean…fudge.” He
