Charlie
By the time he’d reached the office—well, it was really more of a huge warehouse with a couple of offices in the back—he couldn’t shake the grin. Knowing he was going to spend time with Owen later had him in a great mood.
“What’s with you?” Charlene asked.
Charlene was the boss’s wife and she was pretty in that brash kind of way. Platinum blonde hair, blue eyes, pink lips, and curvy. She liked to show off those curves, too—low-cut tops, tight pants or skirts that showed a lot of leg. Some of the guys talked s**t about her behind her back, but Charlie didn’t like that.
