MY NIGHTS were filled with dark shadows, muffled screams and bloôd. And this time there was no one to pull me out of them, I just suffered through them and woke up with a raging headache and a twisted stomach. When I sat up, the first thing I did was to take my medicines before I started my day and then I sent a text to Ami. I needed to talk to her, I didn’t think I could deal with these unwanted emotions I was feeling on my own.
When I stepped out of my bedroom, there was nothing but silence and for a second I thought I was all alone in the apartment and in this world like it had been in that dark place with everyone dead just me with their dead bodies and their blôod coating my hands and legs. I blinked those dark memories away as I walked out.
