KATLYN I can’t believe it. I did it. I was inside the club. Even though the dark entrance and menacing looking guards at the front and then the ones who escorted me into the reception area had made me second guess, I was still here. All the dark looks I got, assessing eyes that checked me as if I was a danger to their establishment, almost made me turn my back to run off to my father’s house where I could spent the rest of my night trying to avoid thinking about a certain man’s solid presence and how my body craved to be back in his arms so I could fall asleep. But against everything, I walked through those heavy looking double doors guarded by more men who didn’t do anything to hide their weapons and their eyes scanned me like I was the one carrying assault rifles, I had to even leave
