I placed the Ben and Jerry’s tubs in the freezer and shut the door. They weren’t for me and I didn't care, but I noticed that she liked her ice cream and in the last few days, more specifically since that day in her college bathroom, she had finished not one or two but six of those tubs and when I saw that there weren’t any remaining I bought more for her. If you ask me why I did that, I’ll only say that I did it for my own peace of mind because it seemed having ice cream was putting a cold balm on her irritability or that she seemed less edgy.
