CHAPTER ELEVEN

4122 Words

I was walking alone down the hallway at my high school towards my last class when I heard a very familiar voice calling out my name.   "Sarah..." the familiar voice trailed off—pain evident in its tone.   My eyebrows creased into confusion as I halted from my steps, "Mom?"   "Sarah, darling..." the pained voice echoed again throughout the hallway in a whisper.   "Mom, where are you?" I utterly asked as a great worry filled my entire chest, "Mom?"   "Sarah, I'm sorry..."   I followed the voice unknowingly.   "I'm sorry..." my mom's voice echoed again.   "Mom!" I called as tears started to fell from my eyes.   "My angel..."   I ran as fast as I could in the hallway that seems to be never ending.   "I love you..."   "Mom, where are you!" I exclaimed in pain and terror.
