Abril had barely slept all night. She got up when the first rays of sun entered her room, called one of the maids, and asked her to prepare a bath. She wanted to have a good soak before setting out on her journey.
After preparing the bath, the maid headed for the wardrobe, but Abril had already chosen her clothes.
"You can go now, I've already chosen my clothes."
When the maid left, Abril approached the bed to check on Alessandro. He was still sound asleep. Not wanting to wake him, she went straight to the bathroom and stepped into the tub, the warm water enveloping her body felt pleasant.
When she returned to the room, she saw that Alessandro was already awake. He looked a little agitated, but when he saw her, he strode towards her, hugged her tightly, and breathed a sigh of relief,
