Cassian had created a wall with a vine in a corner of the room and had hidden behind it with Taren before Alessandro and the elf queen arrived.
They crouched, watching everything that happened in the room. When they saw that one of the girls accompanying the elf queen pointed her sword at Alessandro’s neck, they took advantage of the apparent distraction to attack.
Using his magic, Cassian directed the vines towards the feet of the two girls and the elf queen. He needed to get their attention so he could make the vines trap them.
He signaled Taren to come out. The two emerged at the same time, drawing everyone's attention.
