When Cassian woke up, he heard Maya talking to someone. He searched for the person she was talking to, but she was alone. There was no one else in the room apart from the two of them.
He got up from the couch, picked up his clothes from the floor, and after putting on his pants, he asked her, “Who were you talking to?”
Maya turned around and replied, “With my brother.”
Cassian looked around the room again, making sure they were alone. He asked again because he thought he had heard wrong, “With who?”
Maya laughed, showed him a necklace she was wearing with a red stone in the center, and said, “With my brother. This necklace allows me to communicate with him even when we are far away. The fairy queen gave it to me some time ago so that I could stay in touch with my family.”
