“Good morning sleepy head”, Corinne heard as she opened her eyes. She looked around her and saw that she was in a hotel room. She panicked for a moment before realizing where she really was, she placed a hand on her forehead and took deep breaths in.
“Are you okay”, a voice asked her.
Then she opened her eyes and saw a face staring into hers directly, she squealed a little and backed away quickly.
“Oh my God Lucy”, she placed a hand against her chest. Lucy stepped back with a confused look on her face with some trace of hurt.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you Tessa”. Lucy held up her hands like in surrender.
Corinne shook her head, “no no no, it’s not your fault. I’m sorry if I scared you too”.
She finally collected herself and smiled up at Lucy, “good morning”.
