Once they got inside the house, Camilla gently led Corinne to her bedroom after they had said goodnight to their mother, with much persuasion from Camilla for their mother to go to bed too.
Camilla went into Corinne’s en suite bathroom and began running water for a bath, then she went back into the room to help Corinne change out of her dress. She picked up makeup remover from her dresser and started to gently wipe off the makeup from Corinne’s face.
She worked in silence, never saying a word to her sister, her sister had been quiet ever since she stopped crying and she was going to let her be, if Corinne wants to talk, she will. She is not one to show weakness and seeing her baby sister cry tonight, made her feel helpless and weak that she could do nothing to protect her from this.
