Excerpt from Barrow’s Journal – My Year with Dragons
As a gentleman, I do not often discuss matters of s*x or love, even with my closest friends. But the issue of “virgin lust” for dragons is too interesting not to comment upon, at least in this private diary of mine. Dragons have a clear primal obsession with a dragoness or human virgin of breeding age. I am told I must imagine the most favorite food I’ve ever eaten and how it tastes and smells. I instantly think of my cook’s sticky cinnamon buns that she bakes only at Christmas. Even as I write this, the memory of tasting such sugary sweetness upon my tongue makes my mouth water. The scent of a virgin is ten times stronger to a dragon compared to that. And the scent of a true mate, one hundred times stronger.
