“Hello,” I said as I picked up the call. It had been a long tiring day for me at school. I had just gotten into mine and Ash’s apartment when my phone vibrated in my bag. It had no caller ID so I didn’t know who was calling. “Hey….Ayva it's um….it’s Yusuf.” a smooth deep voice rang through my speaker. I was stunned for a moment. The way he pronounced my name, the way the letters rolled on his tongue, and his deep voice accentuating the ‘v’ in it made a shiver run down my spine. It made my name sound like one of those names that belonged to only royalty, it sounded so peculiar and glorious. It gave me one more reason to love my first name.
